you came from behind
the corner of my eye
and pushed up my fairy tale disguise
left bruised fingerprints
on my collarbone
and eased your way
down my backbone
it didn't feel like home
closed off mouths
shivers and shakes
ran hands under hot faucets
and didn't feel the pain
numbed every membrane
can't scrub off the sin
drained souls and bits
of my stained brain
left the bare minimum
ticking time bomb
enclosed in a glass case
tick tick tick
stop
you didn't hesitate
i'd like to strip the power
that runs through your veins
twist your insides out
and quell your hunger
for my pain
